Nan Gratama is currently studying for her Master's degree in Colonial and Global History. Previously, she obtained her Bachelor's degree in History, with a focus on international relations and the postcolonial world order, at Utrecht University. She finished her high school education (IB) at United World College of the Atlantic in Wales. After her bachelor's Nan spent a semester abroad in Madrid, and interned at an NGO (Wilde Ganzen) and a newspaper (Het Financieele Dagblad).
